Job description

As an Enterprise Master Data (EMD) Business Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be on a team of engineers who are committed to creating and maintaining high-quality Master Data used across the entire company. As a Senior Business Analyst in this organization, you will partner with Master Data leaders, individually contributing team members, and with partners in departments such as IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Micron’s Business Units. You will focus on major Master Data transformations across Micron’s landscape, such as bringing to bear new capabilities and processes in how we run our enterprise Bill-of-Materials (BOM) structures. You will collaborate with partner organizations, including external consultants, to deliver data solutions to meet the evolving needs of the semiconductor industry. We’re looking for collaborative problem-solvers, people who can bring innovation and data engineering principles to advance Micron’s Enterprise Master Data solutions. A major goal for this team is to simplify our environment, moving from disconnected, disparate data sources – and into unified, best-in-class solutions that optimize our Master Data business processes.

The Enterprise Master Data team is comprised of Business Analysts, Data Architects, Software Engineers, Process Managers, and Master Data Specialists who understand the importance of maintaining a single source-of-truth for Master Data that is captured once, accurately, completely, correctly, consistently and unambiguously, then delivered on-time to processes that require it. We do this through robust business processes, strong data governance, ECO change control policies, advanced system solutions and analytics, and data quality audits. The team is accountable for the quality of data across the following disciplines: Product Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Direct & Indirect Materials, Bills of Materials, and Manufacturing Attributes & Vintages. In this role, you will be an instrumental leader (Process Owner, Workstream Owner, Product Owner, Project and Program Manager/Lead) for transformational-scale projects and programs.
