As a scalable DRAM & Verification Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you will work with a creative and highly motivated design and verification team using state of the art memory technologies to develop and verify the most advanced DRAM technology. You will be challenged by the complexity and difficulty of designing/verifying the high-density memory chip with complicated functionality, ultra-high speed, advanced low power and power management technology. In this position, you will have verification responsibilities with deep understanding of the design to fully evaluate the design at chip or block level on functionality, and provide solutions. You could work closely with Micron's global design teams and give to the success of our design team by applying verification tools, and techniques, providing verification status and summaries to specific designs as needed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

 

-  Participating in the development of digital/analog mix-signal verification methodology for advanced DRAM products, as well as design and implementation of mix-signal design verification environment

-  Complete understanding of design data sheet

-  Studying and learning the circuit design in detail. Understand the functionality and timing requirements of the circuitry

-  Developing patterns and regressions to increase the function coverage for all DRAM architectures and features

-  Providing support to design engineers, debug failures, handle bug tracking, and close coverage

-  Co-working with international colleagues on developing new verification tools and the flows to resolve the verification difficulties

-  Developing and maintain test benches and test vectors using digital and analog simulation tools

-  Building new methods and flows to guide DRAM chip design from verification view

-  Building a verification plan from functionality specification and in coordination with architects

-  Working with multi-functional group to define and develop DFT patterns

 

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

-  A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (Preferred) and strong work ethic and integrity

-  Fluency in verification languages (System Verilog or equivalent) and methodologies (UVM or equivalent), (Preferred)

-  Previous work experience in DRAM memory related fields (Preferred)

-  Experience with SV, SystemVerilog Assertion (SVA), VPI coding and UVM Test Bench (Preferred)

-  Experience defining coverage strategy and writing coverage model (Preferred)

-  Strong communication with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other verification peers and ability to work well in a team

-  Fundamental understanding of CMOS circuit design (Preferred)

-  Familiar with analog/digital simulation tools, ie. HSPICE, Verilog HDL, FINESIM

-  Good debugging and analytical skills
