Culture, Engagement and Change Specialist

As a Culture, Engagement and Change Specialist, you will play a key role in driving Micron’s bi-annual Engage! program, participate in culture strategy initiatives and lead change management activities. We know that team members who thrive in their work are highly engaged and Micron’s performance in the market is greater when engagement is high. Incorporating organizational change within Micron will result in driving faster adoption, greater ultimate utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization such that business results are achieved.




Participate in and lead portions of the Engage! program

  • Participate in the design and execution of the Micron Engage program strategy (including communications, timing, questions, etc.) with input from HR, Company leaders and the Engage! Team
  • Execute on key pieces of the project plan within identified timelines to enable transparency and accountability to the overall program schedule
  • Respond with urgency to requests from key partners
  • Prioritize a company-wide focus on action planning


Partner in creating and executing on the Micron Culture Strategy

  • Provide insight to the business on Culture trends, areas or opportunity and competitive programs and practices
  • Partner with Micron Leaders to identify areas of focus for future evolutions of the Culture Strategy
  • Work closely with internal partners (Brand, Recruiting, Learning & Development, Diversity and Inclusion Team, Employee Resource Groups, HR Business Partners, HR service center, etc.) to ensure consistency in how our culture shows up across the employee experience.


Apply a Structured Change Management Approach and Methodology for the People Side of Change Caused by Projects and Change Efforts

  • Work with project teams to integrate organizational change activities and strategy into the overall project plan
  • Conduct change assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
  • Develop a set of measurable and targeted plans – including communication, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training and resistance management which can be implemented within the culture of the organization
  • Proactively identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes
  • Communicate change status to project team and external partners in an organized and solution-oriented fashion
  • Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders
  • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
  • Champion a positive environment where people can thrive, do their best work and feel appreciated and recognized.
  • Work collaboratively with Communications and Learning and Development in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation
  • Continuously develop skills through books, classes and articles
  • Provide resources and training to others to increase effectiveness throughout team



  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology, Organization Behavior, Human Resources, Business or related field of study
  • Experience with designing and implementing culture and engagement strategies in fast-paced, complex situations and/or organizations
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously to get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Adaptable with strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Effective and concise communication, orally and in written form. Strong messaging and writing skills
  • Experience in OE/OD, L&D, HR, Talent Management, Executive Coaching, Consulting, or related fields
  • Problem solving and analytical mindset “Turn data into information to make decisions with”
  • Driven to learn and contribute quickly
  • Certification in leadership assessments, psychometrics, and development tools highly valuable
