As a member of Micron’s Risk Advisory Services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of IT assurance and advisory projects to provide risk-based advice and insight to Micron’s global IT operations and to protect and improve organizational value and security posture. You will gain a broad perspective by working on a variety of assignments across a global organization to analyze issues and make well-reasoned recommendations on assigned tasks. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

  • Assist in auditing the Company’s technology infrastructure, applications, IT processes and cyber security capabilities
  • Assist in testing ITGCs and application controls for SOX compliance
  • Perform assigned assurance and advisory projects from the audit plan including:
    • Provide input into project plans to address technology risks identified in the audit plan
    • Perform fieldwork to achieve project objectives and adequately mitigate risk
    • Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness, improve IT operations, protect company assets and shareholder value, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations
    • Assist in drafting audit observations and recommendations
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with management, audit team members, and other key partners
  • Demonstrate effective collaboration with business project teams
  • Effectively and succinctly communicate project results and recommendations into project assigned project managers

 

 

Education:

 

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Management Information Systems, Accounting or equivalent
  • Desired: Master’s degree in Computer/Management Information Systems, Accounting or equivalent and/or CIA, CISA, CISSP

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of IT Audit and Technology General Controls
  • Knowledge of the common audit standards and frameworks associated with Internal and IT Auditing
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ambitious, focused, dedicated and a self-starter with business insight
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required
  • Able and eager to learn and apply new skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred minimum 1 year of experience in IT auditing or consulting services
