SSD Reliability Engineer

  • Required: Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Computer Engineering


  • 4-12 years of experience in any of the following:
  • NAND Product/Device engineering
  • Non-volatile Memory Product/Device engineering
  • Quality/Reliability engineering in Semiconductor domain
  • Working experience with Solid State Drive firmware, drivers and/or applications
  • Working experience in NVMe, PCIe, SAS and/or SATA based product development or Validation
  • Working experience with cross functional groups and leading a small group of young engineers
  • Working experience in Linux environment
  • Applied knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE), oscilloscopes, logic and/or interface protocol analyzers


  • Knowledge of mainstream semiconductor memory technologies such as NAND, NOR or DRAM
  • Experience with alternative / emerging memory technologies (preferred)
  • Knowledge of 2D & 3D NAND in device physics, reliability & endurance statistical data analysis in Excel, R or JMP (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of various storage protocol standards such as SATA, SAS, PCIe, or NVMe
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills. Strong data collection skills preferred
  • A high degree of self-initiative and the ability to think and act independently.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills with excellent project/time management and priority setting skills
  • Excellent analytical problem solving skills.
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages in C, C++ or Python
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into measurable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements and results.
  • Prior experience in quality and reliability (Preferred)
