Who You Are:
We are looking for someone with knowledge of Failure Analysis tools/techniques and intimate knowledge of all aspects of machine from electrical & electronics, mechanical and software.
Added Advantages:
- Experience in physical failure analysis using PFIB and FIB in any industries including universities labs is highly desired.
- Direct FA experience in assembly/test semiconductor manufacturing.
Position Summary:
Micron is seeking a highly-qualified technician to take responsibility for Failure Analysis (FA) in support of manufacturing and customer needs.
In this role, you will provide hands-on FA support, oversee tool maintenance and calibration activities on equipment in the FA Lab and be responsible to communicate and write preliminary FA reports with clear analysis results summary. You will also be responsible to assist FA engineer in improving the failure analysis process to reduce test time, increase throughput and increase failure mechanism assignment accuracy.
What You Will Do:
Provide Failure Analysis support to manufacturing and engineering development groups.
Responsible for daily tracking and updating for Failure Analysis cases for further review.
Writing effective preliminary FA reports.
Responsible for generating operating procedure, risk analysis, calibration and ESD qualification for new tools.
Operate and maintain analytical equipment in FA labs.
Oversee daily maintenance and operation of Failure Analysis lab equipment and consumables.
Develop effective troubleshooting plans for equipment and develop improvement plans to improve equipment uptime.
Participate in quality, productivity and cost improvement plans in FA Lab.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
Technical Diploma from Government Polytechnics or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years working experience in Failure Analysis field or analytical lab.
Experience with FA tools/techniques: Parallel lapping and cross sectioning, curve tracing and micro probing, optical microscopes, PEM, chemical de-capsulation, SEM, EDS and FIB cross section. Experience in FIB analysis is highly desired.
