DRAM Design Engineer

As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. This includes simulating, optimizing, and floor planning DRAM circuits. In this position you will work and support the efforts of engineering groups related to Design, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing to proactively design products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer happiness. You will also be responsible for verification of the design through simulation, circuit modeling and design validation.

 

Successful candidates for this position will have:

 

  • Course work in CMOS Circuit Design, Digital Logic Design, and Device Physics
  • Knowledge of VLSI design
  • Knowledge and experience with Verilog and Spice like Simulation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A self-motivated, hardworking phenomenal teammate who enjoys working with others
  • Good communication and documentation skills.,

 

The following skills are preferred but not required:

 

  • Knowledge of design synthesis and static timing analysis
  • Experience with power network analysis
  • Experience with a scripting language (Python, Tcl, Perl, etc)

 

Qualification:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering but Master's degree preferred
