Responsibilities and Tasks:

In this role you will be responsible for working with system, hardware and firmware architects to define, design and lead implement the firmware stack for new ranges of SSD controllers. This will be designed to be optimized with the latest high efficiency NAND flash and other future solid state memory and optimized for the mobile, client, and data center marketplace in terms of power, reliability, cost and performance.

As a Senior FW lead, you will play the technical leadership role along with sub-module technical leads for design, implementation, verification and customer support. You will be contributing in one or more of the following domains: NVMe/SATA, NAND, Performance, FTL, Infrastructure, Requirement analysis.

This is a key role in advancing our overall business with wide ranging impact across our organization and company.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong software engineering background (MSc in Software Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent through experience)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in embedded storage products, such as SSD, HDD, storage systems, eMMC, UFS or related technology
  • Strong knowledge on processor architectures, specifically ARM
  • Thorough knowledge of C language
  • Expert in embedded firmware, programming and its concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams or projects  
  • Excellent communication skills in English


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with NAND technology
  • Experience with design for and support for mass production
  • Practical experience in the project management of firmware and software
  • Knowledge on configuration management
  • Knowledge on FW test
