Managed NAND Design uSD Product Manager


The NVE Managed NAND Design (MND) uSD Product Manager will manage the activities related to the design and development of Micron's uSD Managed NAND products.  This covers all steps from product kick off through customer qualification.   As a NVE MND Product Manager at Micron, you will align and consolidate all present and future requirements and assure effective implementation by the respective Design, Development functional teams and Suppliers.  You will also serve as the Development Team contact to all outside functions and departments.


Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams with a global footprint
  • Lead cross functional development team meetings
  • Creation and management of project milestones
  • Track key development issues
  • Drive key development issues which span multiple functional teams
  • Define and track key metrics related to product development
  • Assist in driving development methodology improvement
  • Document lessons learned utilizing DFMEA and 8D
  • Ensuring product development schedules and issues are communicated to outside teams
  • Track project resources and development costs
  • Perform any activities deemed necessary to ensure the smooth and timely execution of the project
  • Ensure project development is following defined MND process development methodology


    Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Proven knowledge in project or program management fundamentals
  • Experience leading a technical development project
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create clear and concise presentations
  • Strong problem solving skills and experience coordinating cross functional problem solving efforts
  • Ability to make complex decisions factoring in all priorities, consequences and variables
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Prochain, or similar software tools
  • Ability to drive cross functional teams toward a focused goal
  • Willingness to travel (1-2 weeks per year, Taiwan/US)


    Education and Experience:

    BS +5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering field
