Job Description

As a Program Manager-TPCE at Micron you will be responsible for working with leadership and peers to manage projects and business processes for the TPCE team.    
You will be responsible for managing projects related to TPCE activities. You will develop and track metrics for outcomes of each project.   You will communicate regularly on project status and escalate issues as needed to keep project on track. 

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

Manage Project Teams and Stakeholders

 

·   Identify Stakeholders and manage expectations

 

·   Collect and document requirements

 

·   Identify and resolve issues and conflicts

 

·   Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders

 

·   Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and provide recognition for project

 

 

 

 

 

 

Initiate and Plan Project

 

·   Estimate the resources and participants needed

 

·   Plan and schedule timelines and milestones

 

·   Use PMO standard processes  

 

 

 

Execute, Monitor, Control and Close Programs

 

·   Identify and manage dependencies

 

·   Track milestones and deliverables

 

·   Control scope

 

·   Facilitate from project close to long term sustainment

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

       

 

Education

Required

 

 

 

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience

  • Engineering
  • Project Management

 

  

Desired

 

 

 

Certificate

·  Project Management Professional (PMP Certification)

 

 

 

 

 

Experience

Required

 

3 years’ experience in any of the following:

  • Engineering
 
  • Project Management
 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

 

· Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groups.

 

 

· Strong project management skills.

 

 

· Decision making skills using data analysis techniques.

 

 

· Demonstrated ability to communicate well with peers and managers.

 

 

· Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
