MXA TPCE Module Test Process Engineer

As a TPCE Module Test Process Engineer, I responsible for evaluating new and existing processes and configuring test system to improve quality and sustainability, reduce cost, and develop best practices within the production process. i will also maintain reliable and sage test systems while improving test rate, efficiencies, yields and quality.


Module Test Process Engineer is considered the produce owner within the global manufacturing structure, driving manufacturing development from the New Production (NPI) phase up through High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) readiness. As a Test Process Engineer, I'm part of a global team expected to be the product and process experts in terms of testing and testability.


My responsibilities include, but are not be limited to:

  • Develop, modify and qualify robust processes to resolve process variance and equipment or device performance problems, while providing quality control and improving efficiency
  • Participate in, identify and/or manage specific project roadmaps
  • Participate and contribute in risk analysis processed
  • Manage or participate in cross functional or cross department projects and/or teams
  • Procure cost efficient solutions meeting mechanical, electrical or manufacturing requirements
  • Develop and implement long term improvements in equipment or processes that reduce scrap, cost, rework, cycle time, aid throughput, or provide yield improvement
  • Generate process specifications and control limits based on test data analysis
  • Conduct new equipment modifications and process research
  • Conduct evaluations of new or modified equipment or processes
  • Standardize methods and procedures across areas, departments and sites as appropriate
  • Investigate manufacturing issues related to Test processed and equipment and identify and implement solutions
  • Communicate with suppliers, peers and customers to accurately relay technical information
  • Document changes and area specifications
  • Communicate lessons learned and leverage best known methods across Micron sites
  • Mentor other team members
  • Observe all established EHSS polices, requirements and procedures
