MXA Site Quality Director/品质保证部总监


Job Description:
As a Site Quality Director in Micron, you will be responsible for managing the business objectives for the quality department. You will formulate quality-related plan, budgets, and policies while directing and coordinating day to day quality related activities. You will be responsible to lead a quality team, innovate and build effective processes and systems that the Back End Network can utilize to align focus on improving the top quality concerns for our site. You will be responsible for in-line process controls, incoming/outgoing material and product quality, lab management and will oversee Back End customer support and deviation management activities for the site. Your role will require you to develop and manage quality organizational capability: manage and plan organizational resources, communicate job expectations and changes, manage employee performance, and promote teamwork.

 

Major Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility 1: Manage and Lead Quality Team
• Advocate Quality culture
• Develop, mentor, lead TMs
• Define, deploy Quality Programs
• Drive Strategic Quality initiative for the Site
• Build a site quality team that will drive to zero deviations from product requirements.
• Participate in efforts related to alignment and collaboration of Quality organizations in the Back end network
• Work with all sites and business partners to establish an effective communication system.
• Provide documented performance management for all direct reports with formal and informal feedback, work on a plan jointly to enhance strengths and address weaknesses, and establish performance plan goals with line of sight to IPP goals, MFG initiatives and company strategy.
• Attract top talent to the group as needed to meet operational objectives
• Develop line of sight metrics and manage Quality performance
• Establish, measure, and drive for goals based results

 

2. Responsibility 2: Manage Product Quality Assurance
• Deliver a consolidated and aligned focus on improving performance variation and deviations that impact required product quality
• Develop an IQC process that works collaboratively between relevant functional groups
• Develop a Product Quality Management system though the supply chain
• Provide Customer support (Customer audits, RMAs/Customer Complaints)
• Provide lot disposition support
• Support Product/Process Qualification
• Collaborate with various stakeholders on NPI

 

3. Responsibility 3:  Manage Quality Management Systems
• Facilitate Management review process
• Manage Closed-loop Internal/External Audit System
• Promote continuous improvement programs and Quality Culture
• Manage and improve document control system
• Drive BKMs and business process alignment
• Develop a BIC Quality Culture at an appropriate cost

 

4. Responsibility 4: Manage Process Control System
• Develop and sustain Process Control monitor programs
• SPC
• FMEA & Control Plans
• Reduce process and equipment variation
• Establish deviation management standards
• Manage ESD Program compliance
• Drive Change Management compliance

 

5. Responsibility 5: Lab Management
• Provide Failure Analysis support
• Support Reliability testing execution
• Ensure compliance to Equipment Calibration requirements

 

Qualification:
• Bachelor degree major in engineering or related discipline with equivalent quality management related experience
• MBA or oversea education background is preferred
• Six-Sigma black belt preferred.

 

Requirements
• Above 10 years’ experience in semiconductor industry. This should include 4+ years of management experience in international complex organization revenue of $ 1billion and up
• Minimum of 8 years in leading team of experts on Quality area
• Must have experience in a QS-9000 or ISO 9001 as well as Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, Six Sigma etc.
• Motivating team and fostering teamwork, clear and open communication
• Strong leadership and visional strategic planning capability
• Required Knowledge of the overall Quality planning, Control Plan standard and Quality tools
• Understand business needs and customers’ requirement
• Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/ outside the company and to interact with team to reach team goals and business objectives
• Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition and performance feedback
• Good at negotiation skill and quality engineering skills
• Taking full responsibility for decisions & results even when all elements are not under individual direct control
• Excellent English skill both in Oral and Written
