Probe Engineering Manager (Software)

Job description

As a Probe Engineering manager, you will be responsible to oversee the development and management of the probe test program, parametric workbook and auxiliary software for all products running in the line from NPI to HVM phase. You will also be responsible to develop and manage the tool and system automation to ensure smooth running of the probe operation.

 

Responsibilities and tasks

·        Collaborate within Micron Network to develop test program for new product introduction.

·        Support test optimization evaluations for improved coverage to backend tests for yield and quality.

·        Develop new Probe test methodology/flow in area of electrical fail analysis/data-mining/test optimization for yield improvement. 

·        Create additional probe capacity through test time reduction projects, and reduce test cost via innovative Probe testing solution

·        Probe flow and tool automations, auxiliary and application software development for probe manufacturing and engineering teams’ productivity improvement. Includes new generation tools and workflow setup.

·        Develops and manage product disposition program to ensure quality products (Crunch/Auto-Dispo/Wormhole).

·        Responsible for the development and training of probe engineering managers and engineers to grow in their managerial and technical expertise. 

·        Lead cross functional teams to resolve probe related issues of a complex nature.

·        Active engagement in global collaboration projects and work process development.

 

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. 

·        Minimum 5 years’ relevant semiconductor industry experience in high volume 300mm manufacturing, with 3 years’ experience in management position. 

·        Prefer experience in device testing with good understanding of test concept and tool automation.

·        Good leadership skill in mentoring and managing the performance of teams.

·        Proven ability to make decisions, multi-task, and troubleshoot problems and address root causes.

·        Measure self and team for efficiency and effectiveness

·        Excellent English communication skills (oral & written)
