Job Description

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, facilitating, organizing, and motivating agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivery solutions that provide exceptional business value to users. The IT Manager will manage high visibility solution delivery using agile methods in a fast-paced environment.  The IT Manager will blend traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in order to achieve the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.  The ideal candidate is first and foremost a servant leader, a facilitator who tirelessly works through impediments, ensures the integrity of Agile processes, and motivates the team to high levels of performance and achievement.


Responsibilities and Tasks

Team Management

  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments.
  • Remove roadblocks for team work.
  • Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work.
  • Mentor and develop team members.

Product Owner Support

  • Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder communications.
  • Confirm priorities for the team’s work and facilitates settlement of prioritization conflicts.
  • Assist the Product Owner in communicating business requirements to the team.
  • Assist the Product Owner in communicating team accomplishments and solution capabilities to business users.

Process Management and Improvement

  • Define and manage a well-defined project management process within an Agile framework.
  • Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile project management.
  • Coach the team in Agile best practices, processes, and mindset.
  • Coordinate with other teams who share dependencies to achieve solution delivery according to customer expectations.

Team Building

  • Promote empowerment of the team to build a cohesive, high performing team.
  • Ensure that each team member is full engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution.
  • Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
  • Use appropriate data and metrics to measure and promote team growth and maturity.
  • Facilitate resolution of conflict within the team.
  • Provide specific performance feedback to team members and their managers.


  • 3+ years leading team / function responsible for developing, delivering, and/or supporting data, analytics, or business intelligence solutions
  • 3+ years managing and/or analyzing data and information for operations and/or business intelligence purposes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective
  • Experience creating, measuring, and improving business processes  
  • Strong communication skills, with a track record of significant direct interaction and peer leadership with partners across the company
  • Ability to independently prioritize work from multiple sources, including quick tasks and large scale project work
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and drive for results
  • Experience with Agile practices
  • Great documentation and presentation skills
  • Strong manufacturing domain knowledge in semiconductor industry is needed
  • Good communication skills in English or TOEIC 650 and above
  • Based in Taichung




Master Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology

(Information Engineering, Information Management, Software Engineering)
