MCT BE Total Productive Maintenance Engineer

As a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Engineer, you will be responsible for development / implement and oversee TPM strategy / program to Backend High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) sites. This will span across Assembly / Post Elect / Module operation. You will lead the TPM transformation as we drive a cultural shift in how we continuously improve; be a hands-on team builder able to recognize others’ resistance to change and lead individuals and teams through the change process; apply competence in TPM, combined with on-the-job expertise and stakeholder input to

identify, prioritize and manage multiple improvement projects. You will require to manage, maintain TPM system for the entire Backend network. You will participate in teams to support site integration / new site development efforts and support global alignment activities.

 

Responsibilities:

Implement and oversee TPM Strategy within the Backend Manufacturing Sites.

  • Implement autonomous maintenance with Manufacturing Sites.
  • Communications
    • Present technical information
    • Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent and steady progress in accordance with TPM Strategy.
    • Mentor teams and individuals in TPM methodologies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders; keep management team updated on TPM program status.
    • Function as the primary point of contact for all site TPM inquiries and communications.
    • Partner with other facilities/managers to benchmark best practices in developing TPM milestones.
    • Partner with steering teams to identify and remove roadblocks.
    • Facilitate communications between areas, including the TPM web app administrator.
  • Work with PM technicians to develop operator checklists.
  • Audit TPM process.
  • Develop and monitor TPM milestone metrics.
  • Manage program health and address non-compliance.
  • Support 6S system.
  • Implement visual standards and checklists at machines.
  • Support site development / integration projects.
  • Interface with other departments (where applicable) to facilitate TPM program.
  • Communicate with suppliers, peers, and customers (business units and manufacturing sites) to accurately relay technical information.
  • Maintain a strong and open relationship with peer group and engineers in other functional areas and in partner organizations.
  • Actively share information with others to raise level of awareness and knowledge.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

     

    Requirements:

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with an inclination towards software technology.
  • Proven experience driving large scale culture shifts.
  • 3+ years of experience in Backend Operations or related manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with the implementation and oversight of TPM initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent Project Management skills.
  • Highly result driven individual, self-motivated and ability to multi-task and manage dynamic priorities.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill and a good team player.
  • Ability to participate in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and packaging is an advantage.
