Fab10 Quality Deviation Improvement Engineer

Job Description

As a QDI Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating and improving scrap and deviation events. It will be your responsibility to have consistent communication with the process engineering groups, production supervisors, WLR, PI, MES team, IE, and other site excursion/scrap coordinators. Through these communications you will ensure that each deviation event is clearly understood, trouble-shoot and test problems and fixes, drive long term solutions for deviation trends, review all deviations for accuracy, verify or validate deviation metrics, gather input on critical opportunities, build effective presentations that generate action items, maintain general QDR procedures for the fab, generate actions from impacted groups, and ensure consistency with reporting.

 

Responsibilities

Coordinate deviation evaluations with the Scrap Coordinator, WLR, and YE
Participate in risk assessment efforts
Facilitate systematic troubleshooting efforts
Drive accountability of actions and follow-up
Drive root cause analysis
Help to resolve roadblocks and provide guidance for deviation analysis
Manage global and internal lessons learned systems
Improve cross-area event response methods and procedures
Review excursion performance with management
Facilitate excursion review meetings
Review and deep dive excursion metrics for the fab
Facilitate cross-area meetings for global excursion improvement activities

 

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field of study

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to coordinate efforts across cross function groups

Strong data analysis

Preferred equiped with knowledge in C#, C++, Python, Java
