FE MATERIALS PROGRAM MANAGER

As a Program Manager in FE Materials, you will be responsible for managing strategic programs that are driven by the Global Procurement and FE Materials organizations' strategy.  This will include strategic planning and continuous improvement of multiple complex projects/efforts that are connected to achieve specific business goals and objectives. You will assure accurate design and tracking of the program to predict results and outcomes critical to success. Analysis of progress in terms of root cause analysis, pay-back assessment, risk, resources consumption, interdependencies and gaps. You will interact with senior level leaders for direction and oversight and you must be able to influence at this level.  You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining workflows to improve efficiencies of project and program execution.

 

 

Responsibilities

Manage Program Benefits

  • Identify and establish benefits realization plan and develop benefits metrics and continually assess metrics and communicate progress to Stakeholders. 
  • Balance resource allocation with benefits throughout program cycle 

     

Manage Program Teams and Stakeholders

  • Identify Stakeholders and manage expectations
  • Collect and document stakeholder requirements
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and recognize teams supporting the program
  • Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders 

 

Oversee Program Governance

  • Develop program scope definition and approval
  • Set metrics and targets
  • Manage program change management 

 

Initiate and Plan New Efforts/Projects Supporting the Program

  • Define scope, goals and deliverables
  • Plan and schedule timelines and milestones
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Create roadmaps for future initiatives

 

Education

  • Required:  Bachelor/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Program Management, Business, Business Administration or Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
  • Desired Certification: PMP, PGMP, CPM, CPSM, or other related fields of study

 

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Program Management, Purchasing/Procurement, Engineering, or Supply Chain

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Proficient in English, in terms of oral/written communication
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to be a persuasive advocate
  • Experience as change agent that seeks out and advocates new and innovative solutions to meet the business needs
  • Collaboration skills with peers in global category and stakeholder teams
  • Able to work independently or with a cross functional team
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills, including to navigate the organization and influence decisions
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including leveraging an analytic toolset and setting financial targets to incorporate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concepts
  • History in Business Acumen, Planning, and Decision Making
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Proficient with SharePoint and workflow systems

DESIRED

  • Exceptional program management experience
  • Familiarity with FE Materials categories
  • Knowledge and application of Should-Cost modeling, TCO concepts and strategic sourcing process would be an advantage
