Regional Marketing Manager (Networking applications)


As the Marketing Manager (RM) at Micron Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for marketing activities of networking segment in the Asia Pacific. You will be responsible for developing the strategy for the respective products in Networking applications, aligning and defining the business targets, and driving their achievement. You will represent your products at key defined Networking customers/enablers based in Asia Pacific. 


Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:        



  • Strategic product management and implementation for Networking applications.
  • Coordination of all product relevant activities with management and functional areas.
  • Development of product/segment strategies in alignment with the overall networking segment strategy
  • Optimization of revenue & gross profit  for the responsible segment
  • Alignment and driving of key customers/segment strategies
  • Collection of market and competitor information.
  • Early engagement with key Networking enablers’ platforms in Asia Pacific



  • Collaborating with Sales, Business Development, and NPI on the business plan
  • Alignment and managing product life cycle (e.g. go to market plans, portfolio management, EOL planning) in Asia Pacific
  • Driving short term product engagement with key customers and enablers
  • Aligning of customers’/segment strategy and decisions with Sales.  
  • Defining the pricing targets and limits in alignment with Sales.

Successful candidate for this position will have:

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of product/customer base/segment and the ability to evaluate issues and define solutions.
  • The ability to independently determine best methods for achieving objectives.
  • The ability to solve moderately complex problems and seek guidance for complex problems.
  • The ability to broaden cross-disciplinary knowledge through new assignments and advance their knowledge within their own specialty.
  • Demonstrated ability to use negotiation and persuasion skills to direct decisions of peers and upper management in relation to the defined strategy and tactical plans



BS in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Experience working in networking/high-bandwidth application environment would be preferred
