    As a LPDRAM (Low Power DRAM) Product Requirement Manager for Mobile Business Unit (MBU) at Micron Technology Inc., you will be a critical contributor for the success development, execution and management for LPDRAM product portfolio.


    The Product Requirement Manager will be responsible for collecting product requirements from customers, chipset vendors, industrial standard and Micron internal, creating product requirements in document for the engineering teams, ensuring if all requirements are fulfilled and coordinating the alignment with engineering team and MBU architecture team and marketing team. The product requirement manager will be responsible for ensuring that cross functional stakeholders are efficiently coordinated and that key decisions, issues and risks and accurately consolidated and escalated to the Business Line Manager for decisions to ensure the project can achieve the intended value, in scope, on budget, to spec.


    Job Responsibility

  • Analysis the competitive landscape and understand Micron product position
  • Identify and collect product requirements through customers, chipset vendors, industrial standard(JEDEC), competitive analysis and Micron internal functional teams.
  • Define LPDRAM product with MBU architecture team and DEG design team based on the requirements
  • Create technical requirement document (TRD) as LPDRAM product requirements in the document. Update the documents when the requirement is updated.
  • Create product development request in Teamcenter/SOR for packaged product development.
  • Coordinates the requirement review meeting with the related engineering teams and have an agreement with them.
  • Have boundary agreements besed on requirement agreement
  • Ensure development of and compliance to project requirements/boundary agreements
  • Identify dependencies and risks that pose threat to successful delivery
  • Evaluate trade-offs and make critical program decisions with the Business Line Manager, core team and other stakeholders
  • Successful Candidate

  • Understand DRAM specification and ability to create the specification in the document
  • Experience with document software including any of software XMetal/Astrial/Illustrator
  • Strong communication and presentation skill
  • Excellent verbal communication skill
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skill; ability to work cross functional and boundaries.
  • Experience & Education

  • B.S or M.S degree in engineering is required and 5+ year experience in semiconductor industry; design, product engineering, application engineering, package engineering is preferred.
  • Fluent English is required. Some Japanese understanding is preferred.
