Micron Technology's Legal Department is seeking a corporate attorney to be located in its Munich, Germany office whose principal duties will include commercial transactions, corporate governance and general transactional and corporate matters.  The attorney may also be called on to assist with local employment counseling, litigation and compliance matters, as well as commercial and transactional matters throughout Europe and globally.  The position will report into Micron’s global Legal Department structure.  The position offers a desirable and dynamic work environment in the high tech industry.  Occasional regional and international travel will be required.

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial transaction and corporate law background, with a minimum of three to five years of experience.  Experience practicing in Europe in either a top law firm or in the legal department of a multinational corporation is required.  Excellent German and English written and verbal communication skills are required, and Italian desirable.  Proven experience in contract negotiations and marketing materials review is preferred. The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage a large number and variety of critical and often time-sensitive projects. Experience in the high tech industry is preferred but is not required. 

 

Education and Admission to Practice:

A law degree is required.  A license to practice law in Germany / Europe is preferred but not required.  A JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited US law school is preferred but not required.
