Job Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible of providing financial results and cost performance analysis to operations management, performing month-end close activities, supporting quarterly forecasting and budgeting activities and providing financial analysis and support to various operational initiatives and projects. The Senior Financial Analyst is also expected to play an active role in developing and implementing new financial processes to meet changing business needs, provide information and analysis to the leadership and global manufacturing team for decision making. You will partner with the various teams, such as the site and global teams in providing timely and insightful analysis and financial modeling, work with other Finance teams, such as the central costing teams, Backend Central and Business Finance team, and other site teams to seek alignment and perform consistent benchmarking across sites. In your role, you must develop highly effective working relationships with operational managers, the global ops team and with other Micron manufacturing finance teams.

 

The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Prepare, analyze and present analyses to support site operational decisions with include quantitative analysis of cost vs. benefits of financial projects, NPV and ROI for capital spend, etc.
  • Provide effective operational finance support to the manufacturing operations and make recommendations to management regarding cost savings opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team to deliver complete, concise, and consistent review of financial analysis and benchmarking.
  • Monthly review and analysis of actual reported process costs and comparison to plan and to ensure consistent capture of data to enable internal and external benchmarking efforts.
  • Quarterly review and analysis of projected process costs and comparison to prior plan(s) and established goals and benchmarks.
  • Support the business planning cycle through data analysis and participation in the budget process.
  • Ongoing support of management information requests and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Continuously work to improve the coordination and communication amongst the various site and global finance teams.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by business partners.
  • Actively involved in site bidding process and selection matrix.
  • Support Sox compliance

     

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of financial planning and analysis in a manufacturing environment, working at MNC is preferably.
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with accounting and enterprise reporting systems (SAP) and proficient in Excel and Power point.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing or operations finance: financial planning, modeling, cost and inventory reporting.
  • Demonstrate ability in providing in-depth analysis, forecast, budget, ROI and NPV modeling.
  • Superior problem solving and analysis skills, combined with provide decision support and recommendations
  • Able to multi task, good communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, a team player, able to work under pressure and meets short deadline.
