System Level Modeling Intern - Workloads

As an intern in the System Modeling Group at Micron Technology Inc., you will work with the memory industry's leading architecture team on new concepts that will shape the future of electronic systems.  


Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with internal engineering teams to develop a methodology for characterizing and correlating benchmark and application workloads on CPU hardware.
  • Capturing workload information from test computing platforms, analyzing the workload characteristics, and developing a method for generating a correlated stimulus pattern for a system-level simulation model.


Successful candidate for this position will have:

  • Knowledge of software development practices across a large team, and knowledge of cross-platform development.
  • Knowledge of client and server CPU architectures and memory systems.
  • C/C++, SystemC, and Python experience is desired.
  • Ability to quickly react and adapt to changes.
  • Exellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and self motivated.
  • Must be a strong indivuidual contributor as well as a team player.


Education:                                          Working towards MS, or PhD

Academic Discipline(s):                 Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering; or Computer Science
