As a Mobile Systems Emulation Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with the Mobile Systems Modeling team on enabling and analyzing proof of concepts of new memory architectures via emulation. Internship is offered in Milpitas, CA.

 

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Building, testing, validating proof of concepts for memory architectures
  • Analysis of performance and bottlenecks using key metrics
  • Extracting performance statistics that provide meaningful analysis
  • Evaluating architecture trade-offs impacting architecture performance

 

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in HW systems emulation
  • Knowledge of testing and validation methodologies
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with FPGA boards
  • Knowledge of emulation tools and techniques 
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Linux and scripting
  • Strong understanding of computer, cache and memory architectures
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be highly organized and self-motivated
  • Must be a strong individual contributor as well as a team player

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with code optimizations projects that improved execution runtime
  • Knowledge or experience in DRAM, NAND technologies
  • Knowledge or experience in ARM processors and SoC

 

Education:

MS or Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
