CPG Gaming and Client Sr. DRAM Product Manager


Position Description:

As the global Product and Program Manager for Micron’s Crucial and Ballistix brands of DRAM products you will report to Micron CPG's Director of Product Marketing and be responsible for the strategic and tactical aspects of assigned products and programs during their lifecycle.



  • Manage and conduct all aspects of roadmap planning and methodical planning and execution of that roadmap to meet business plan goals
  • Cross-functional team leadership in the product development and launch process
  • Execute the requirements gathering phase to identify the business and product goals, and review technical execution requirements and project timelines
  • Accountable for complete lifecycle project management of product lines and programs
  • Participate in, and have significant input into, the business planning and pricing process
  • Participate in supply and demand planning exercises to ensure alignment to the business plan
  • Create and maintain documentation necessary to support the processes used in the management of the projects
  • Regularly communicate internally and externally regarding product portfolio status and direction
  • Facilitate effective status communications between applicable stakeholders/areas
  • Domestic and international travel up to 20%
  • Other duties as required


Required Skills:

  • A thorough and understanding of, and passion for, the PC hardware ecosystem, particularly around motherboards, processors and DRAM
  • Experience in storage and graphics a plus
  • Familiarity with the overall consumer electronics and gaming markets, especially PC gaming
  • A mastery of project management skills that manifests in the ability to successfully drive a diverse set of resources to a common goal
  • Solid planning and organizational abilities along with a rabid attention to detail
  • Capability to make sound business decisions based on analysis of available metrics
  • An affinity for identifying and driving process improvements
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of personal computers and Microsoft Excel
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.  Must have a high degree of confidence in making presentations to both internal and external customers, as well as senior management


Required Experience and Education:

  • 5+ years of product or program management or product marketing experience in the consumer electronics or computing hardware industry
  • 4 year degree in Business, Marketing ,Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience and education  
  • Project Management training or certification a plus
