As a  Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will develop and maintain wafer­ level functional test programs for NAND Flash devices. In this position, you will constantly learn new device specifications and operations in order to develop plans to test these devices. You will also be required to conduct tests used to ensure reliability and minimal impact to Fab yield. These tests are time sensitive and must meet characteristics for tester optimization. Additionally, you will support production teams by helping determine software or hardware issues with the testers and participate as an integral pmt of dispositioning lots and providing off­ hours support.


Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Unix/Linux/Solaris knowledge gained through academic coursework or experience.
  • C/C++/Perl coding skills gained through academic coursework or experience.
  • Electronics/Electrical circuit knowledge as applied to the part and the test equipment gained through academic coursework or experience.
  • Knowledge gained through academic coursework or experience of digital systems and logic gates.
  • Knowledge gained through academic coursework or experience of transistor operation.
  • Basic understanding gained through academic coursework or experience of the entire semiconductor memory process flow (NAND and/or DRAM).
  • Semiconductor device knowledge gained through academic coursework or experience.

 

Degree Required: BS or equivalent foreign education

Academic Discipline(s):  Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
