Photo Scanner Equipment Engineer

As a Photo Scanner Equipment Owner, you will be responsible for scanner availability and efficiency improvements by working with Development, Manufacturing, Production, and Vendors to coordinate activities. This 1st shift position also includes ensuring that the fab shift personnel have the proper training and documentation to do their job correctly.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Ensuring tool quality through proper PM schedules, SPC, E3, Focus spot monitoring.  
  • Communicating with Development group and ASML to ensure problems are being addressed quickly and properly.
  • Ensuring PM procedures and checklists are available and up to date and that they are understood by shift teams for consistency across shifts.
  • Driving the vendors to provide working solutions.
  • Getting involved in any hard down situations and XLD follow-ups.
  • Owning the shift TRAIN Scanner profiles, learning events, and training material.
  • Mentoring and training shift personnel.
  • Scanner efficiency items including monitoring, reporting, and improving tool availability and reducing reject rates.
  • Drive the quarterly business review process (QBR) and vendor continuous improvement projects (CIP).


Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion.
  • Experience in Project Management preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Photolithography equipment and processing a plus.
  • 1-2 years Photo experience with ASML Scanner experience preferred, but not required.


BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Similar Related Engineering required.
