As a Process Integration (PI) Module Support Technician at Micron's Manassas, Virginia site (Fab 6), you will be, part of the Non Volatile Flash PI department, responsible for supporting the activities of PI Module Owners in enabling product qualification & ramp, and sustaining yields at the lowest manufacturing cost.

 

 Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supporting Product Integration Engineering team during yield ramps and sustaining phases of product manufacturing life cycle.
  • Working closely with the PI Engineering and Process Engineering teams to ensure cost and capacity related projects are on track and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Monitoring key inline product SPC metrics and working with PI Module Owner and Process Owners in manufacturing areas to reduce process variation
  • Performing inline and electrical data analysis of SWRs and Conversions and help to implement process/product changes using the Manage Change Business process
  • Present technical information to a wide variety of audiences, including formal presentations in business meetings
  • Monitor the progress of conversions post implementation and highlight issues to PI Module Owner counterpart as they arise
  • Assisting PI Module Owners in creating simple SWRs, ECNs, and GCPs and publishing weekly updates on projects with the help of PI Module Owner.
  • Working to achieve win-win situations within the PI team and with external customers from Fab process areas
  • Standard 8AM-5PM workings hours, but some overtime may be required
     

Successful candidates for this position should have:

  • Prior experience working in process areas, PI, RDA or YE(Preferable)
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor fab process areas and their operations
  • Ability to use Micron extraction and analysis tools, Yield 3 and JMP, and willing to learn new data analysis tools
  • Basic ability to write reports using MS Word and Powerpoint
  • Basic ability to track projects and complete them before deadlines
  • Ability to do basic multitasking and juggle between priorities.

 

Education: 

High School Diploma
