R&D Process Integration Conversion Coordinator Engineer / Technician

As a PICC (Process Integration Conversion Coordinator) at Micron Memory Japan, Hiroshima Japan office, you will work with Japan R&D team as well as CSM (Change System Management), production team and IT to maintain critical process control functions and system.  In this position, you will create, maintain, and manage process control system setup required to process lots in an automated fashion.  You will be working with CSM to ensure on-time, coordinated conversion changes.  You will also request and verify new step creation for use on all types of travelers, while meeting worldwide standards.


Our mission is to enable PI (Process Integration) and Micron Memory Japan R&D Engineers to get their conversions setup accurately, efficiently with the BKM (best known methods).  We are in an industry that is every changing and growing. We need people that are interested in helping to constantly review how we do things and update business process’ to continue to improve how we do things to enable quick turns on changes submitted.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Prefer college education or experience in the Semiconductor Industry
  • Experience using software:  Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point
  • A working knowledge of the following systems:  GCP, GeRM, Data Navigator, Micron Central, LMS, Q-time, Sigma, Sampling, Space, Yield3
  • Good customer Service/people skills and great team player
  • Excellent Attendance
  • Attentive to details
  • Learns quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent Problem Solving skills
  • Bi-lingual is very helpful (Japanese and English)

Applicant must be at a Manufacturing Technician level or higher.  Candidates must have an associate degree or equivalent industry experience.
