Fab15 QE PQE Product Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Product Quality Engineer is responsible for driving the improvement of overall product quality through the improvement of the key metrics such as Server%, PTS, ABI/ABL, Customer DPM, NCD in the manufacturing fab.


Job responsibilities

  • Lead the continuous improvement on the product quality through the life by applying the product and reliability engineering expertise.
  • Own the key metrics, such as Server%, PTS, ABI, DPM, NCD and strive to improve them with Fab organizations.
  • Drive continuous improvement on product quality by applying the business process and tools, such as SPC, FMEA, Conversion management, Deviation management.
  • Work with Corp PE/QA to understand the key customer quality issues and drive these issues to resolution within the Fab.


Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Good knowledge of semiconductor processing, device physics, and quality and reliability fundamentals.
  • Proven record of driving issues to resolution
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build solid peer relationships.
  • Proven success at communicating clearly and effectively both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated English communication skill both written and verbal.
  • Able to effectively present technical information to small and large groups.
  • Able to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks both tactical and strategic in nature
  • Need to have Fab Engineering background in roles of either PIE, PEE or Quality.
  • Solid time management skills.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Physics or equivalent experience is preferred.
