Fab15 PIE RDA Process Engineer (Japan)

Job Description

The Fab15 RDA group’s high priority mission is to achieve a yield improvement through early defect improvement.
On top of reducing defects, selected candidate will also analyze logically defect data, and derive a process / defects high yield impact, planning of defect improvement items in cooperation with relevant departments , and execute in a timely.
Selected candidate will not only assume just the RDA Group, an important responsibility for managing a defective improvement / yield improvement of the entire F15, but you also have the opportunity to be active and involved in each project.



  • Provide the defect target required to achieve the target yield to related departments.
  • Provide the resource required to achieve the defect target.
  • Establish & manage the monitor & sampling strategy corresponding to new & legacy product.
  • Check to verify the effects of countermeasure action from defect data. To do so, provide optimal inspection step, inspection tool and sampling strategy.
  • Share the information with other Fab regularly, and do the expansion & feedbackof defect improvement items timely.
  • Share the information with RnD regularly, and keep having the knowledge of the latest inspection technology.


Required Skills

  • Have a basic knowledge of the DRAM.
  • With communication skill, and do the cooperating & negotiation with other Fab or device vendor as well as relevant departments.
  • Have an ability to handle the task at one time, and have the ability to prioritize.
  • Have a communication skill in English.



  • Bachelors degree an above
  • 4 years experience in Semiconductor industry
