Description

As the Industrial Engineering Planning Manager, you are responsible for supervising and developing Area Industrial Engineers to provide accurate and timely modeling and analysis while increasing the efficiencies both in their areas and across the Fab.

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Coaching and mentoring Team Members to reach their goals and potential.
  • Deliver results by encouraging teamwork and setting priorities.
  • Balance workload across the different area planners and ensure that each planner is working on value-added activities in line with Micron goals and strategies.
  • Coordinate the scenario process as it relates to both internal and external groups while continuing to improve the process.
  • Supervise the PDM and ECT audit process and ensure that the data in the capacity model is accurate and represents the true current and future capabilities of the Fab.
  • Communicate with POM to make sure that all MOR changes are accurately reflected in each model
  • Conduct performance management and professional development of the team.
  • Develop, communicate and manage area performance goals with personnel and the IE manager.

     

    Education

  • Diploma in Industrial Engineering, related field of study or equivalent experience is preferred

     

    Experience

    1 year experience in Semiconductor Capacity Modeling desired, plus the following capabilities:

  • Proven ability to make decisions, troubleshoot problems and address root causes.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build strong peer relationships.
  • Proven ability and willingness to continuously learn and improve their skills
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking and prioritizing complex projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer/co-worker relationships.
  • Strong structural and process integration knowledge with a basic understanding of each process area.
