Located in Folsom California, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Micron is the world's largest memory company. We are currently looking to hire a Product Engineer Lead that will be responsible for leading a team of engineers that test and validate leading-edge memory technologies and the develop leading-edge memory products. The products could consist of NOR, NAND or our future Phase Change Memory (PCM) technologies. The job responsibilities would include

- Lead the team and communicate clearly ideas and develop effective strategies

- Developing/Training the team
- Creating staffing plans
- Creating test development plans and executing them (code development, yield and test time roadmaps)

Ability to do hands on work and 5+ years of leadership experience is a requirement.

Additional responsibilities include cell characterization, yield improvement, new product checkout, product and device characterization, data analysis, DFT proposal, failure analysis, qualification, and establishment of manufacturability prior to product ramp. Position requires extensive interface and partnership with Process Engineering , Design, Reliability, and Manufacturing groups.

Skills:

Experience (job related)

- in leading projects and managing a team of engineers

- with memory components in some of the following areas is required: DFT, circuit design, fab processing, testers, testing methodologies, C++ and Perl programming, failure analysis, and statistics.

Knowledge of semiconductor device physics is required. Must be self-motivated, have good written and verbal communication skills, work well in a collaborative team environment, and have the ability to travel overseas.

Education:

Requires MSEE
