Engineering Service – Operation Technician

Job Description

As an Engineering Services (ES) Operations Technician for Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for supporting Backend ATE Test, Burn-in and Stress labs.  You will also be required to follow all safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) guidelines as specified in the Micron Lab Manual.  Work shift: backend night.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

Testing Package and Products Devices

 
  • Load test material onto the test platform
  • Load test program on the test platform
  • Trouble shoot test start related issues
  • Document trouble shooting issues
  • Monitoring test integrity
  • Re-test failures per specifications
  • Unload devices and mark failures

 

Maintain Work Environment

  • Follow Electro Static Discharge (ESD) specifications
  • Follow lab manual and safety procedures
  • Contribute to the cleanliness of the area
  • Maintain area ISO/IATF Certification

 

Demonstrate Initiative

  • Perform assigned tasks on time and follow through with commitments
  • Use problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and suggest resolutions to appropriate personnel

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • AS Degree Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or military experience, 4 + years’ experience in the related field
  • Ability to troubleshoot routine and non-routine problems
  • Strong PC Skills, proficient in MS Office suites
  • Experience with any programming or scripting language is a plus
  • Solder and rework skills a plus
