Micron Systems Integration Group (SIG) provides equipment, board-level products, and engineering services that are strategic to Micron.  This includes probe testers, burn-in ovens, ATE testers, characterization tools and device load boards.

 

As an Electrical Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be a contributor in a team environment creating designs to solve a variety of testing challenges.  You will be performing digital circuit design, board-level hardware development and performance validation.

 

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Printed Circuit Board design and project management for Micron’s test electronic load board products.
  • Creation of design documentation for Printed Circuit Board products including circuit definition, design and analysis to meet Micron’s device testing requirements.
  • Layout document checking against design package in accordance with Micron and industry PCB DFx standards and guidelines.
  • Interaction with internal customers on requirements, development engineering staff and PCB layout designers on design implementation.
  • Interaction with fabrication and manufacturing staff on product realization.
  • Performance validation of products with test electronics.

 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of circuit design techniques including high speed design for signal and power integrity.
  • Experience with electronic lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs and current probes.
  • Knowledge of memory device functionality (including Micron memory portfolio)
  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Development tools including schematic capture, simulation and PCB layout.
  • The ability to manage time and priorities effectively, work in a team environment, and demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.

 

Experience:  PCB design, implementation, validation and testing architectures.

 

Skills:  Basic PC Based tool skills, Interpersonal skills, Electronic troubleshooting/problem solving 

Education:  BS or MS in Electrical Engineering 

Other: Knowledge of PCB fabrication, manufacturing/assembly processes
