Job Description: The Digital Web Producer will maintain and publish content on Micron’s digital properties including micron.com and serve as the expert on our web content management system. This role is part our Studio Team within our Global Communication and Marketing Organization. At a technical level, the Web Producer plays a key role in planning and implementing website revisions, site analytics reporting, SEO implementation, and online marketing promotions, ensuring brand consistency, providing important updates to customers. As a Web Producer, you play a pivotal role in telling the Micron Story.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Creates, edits and arranges the display of text, video, audio, images and other materials that may be included on a website
  • Manages daily web support via mailboxes and troubleshoots technical problems
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical publications team to write, edit, and proofread new content
  • Works closely with graphic designers to influence web graphics on digital properties and keep site in alignment with best practices and brand guidelines
  • Maintains information architecture, taxonomy, blue prints, wireframes and page inventories to conform to governance
  • Ensure editorial integrity and content quality for all online content by identifying and fixing content problems including broken links, typographical errors, and formatting inconsistencies
  • Ensure layout, structures, and content conforms to Search Engine Optimization standards and best practices
  • Drive development of innovative solutions for content presentation, including content management, workflow, and maintenance
  • Partner with Content Specialist to champion web content standards—ensuring that all content and documentation is within current guidelines
  • Curate best practices for UX design. Help drive design and optimization from concept to implementation using data-driven results.
  • Demonstrate a solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
  • Assists with DNS and domain management
  • Run ad-hoc analytics reports to service business unit inquiries

 

Qualifications:

  • Have advanced knowledge of web content management tools.
  • Have experience training others on the use of content management tools.
  • Have extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions.
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of optimization strategies, taxonomy, search, and web navigation.
  • Have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a digital environment.
  • Have experience with content management systems, digital-asset management, databases, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Have demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Have high quality oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Have familiarity with current, new, and emerging web technologies along with experience in HTML and CSS.
  • Have excellent web analysis skills and familiarity with web metrics reporting software.

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in any of the following: 
    • Web Design
    • Computer Information Systems
    • UX Design
    • Communications
    • Sales/Marketing
    • Project Management

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Advertising, Business, Communications, E-Business/Commerce, English, Project Management, Writing
