Sr. Sales Financial Analyst

Job Description:

As the Senior Financial Analyst for Micron’s Sales organization, you will be responsible for financial analysis and support for all aspects of the Sales team.  This will include financial forecasting, analysis of performance to plan, providing data and information, and making recommendations to Sales management. Your role will require you to be an excellent business partner, collaborating with the Worldwide Sales and the multiple Business Units that Sales supports.


Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Responsible for the Worldwide Sales expense and capital budgeting
  • Assist with Sales Incentive Plan administration and reporting
  • Responsible for GAAP compliance for sales activities such as sales rebate programs, MFC agreements & price masking activities
  • Executive Reporting including: Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Sales LT Offsite, OEM updates, Sales Quarterly Review and various other executive-level meetings.
  • Provide ad hoc support of Finance and Sales initiatives



  • Minimum 5 years financial analysis experience
  • Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Cognos PowerPlay (Tableau a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven financial modeling skills
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with distributed resources and contacts
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and strong focus on accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills



  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
