As a SIG Equipment Manufacturing Test Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and techs that support the development and support for all manufacturing test solutions for prototypes, PCA’s and final systems. The team that you manage will be supporting all manufacturing test processes at internal (SIG) and external (subcons) manufacturing sites.

The test manager will be a critical player in reaching successful integration with the design teams from a design for test, develop sound test solutions, and supporting low and medium volume manufacturing processes. This individual would be able to drive the test development team in the right direction for test solutions, foster and maintain very good relationship with design team and subcon support teams, enable a team to achieve sound test processes that enables the testing of advanced test equipment for semiconductor devices.  

A successful candidate must have the ability to outline processes, drive projects/timelines, define/maintain and communicate requirements around projects, as well as successfully enable test releases to the production environment. The ability to foresee risks, mitigate risks/issues and create manufacturing test strategies for success of the test equipment is a critical role in this job. You will develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders across multi-functional environment. It is important that the candidate has capability to train his team to be successful in their job assignments.


Requirements - Successful candidates for this position will have:

Understanding of test programming languages (C++, C#, Python)

Understanding of Linux and Windows environment

Understanding and knowledge in Design for Test (DFT)

Electronics/Electrical circuit knowledge

Capability to diagnose test hardware failures and provide feedback to business partners

High level knowledge of PCBA and system manufacturing processes

Experience from development of manufacturing testing process

Proven problem solving and analytical skills and techniques

High degree of self-initiative with an ability to think and act independently

Demonstrated ability to give attention to details and take ownership for a broad range of responsibilities

Demonstrated Project Management and organization skills

Ability to communicate technical information effectively

The ability to work independently

Able to plan and manage projects to timelines

The ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

5 years of experience from working within the test engineering discipline

2 years of experience as a supervisor/manager within related discipline
