R&D Wet Process Development Engineer

As an R&D Wet Process Development Engineer, you will be responsible for development of new processes to enable current and next generation integrated circuit devices for NAND evaluation of new hardware platforms and process chemistries, performing fundamental research, chemistry development, and generation of intellectual property relevant to the company.  In this position, you will contribute to wet process technology roadmap updates; work with Micron engineers and vendors to develop processes that meet device requirements for future NAND technology nodes; transfer processes to pilot production and high volume manufacturing facilities.  Additionally, you will also improve existing processes and enhance process capability, productivity and efficiency.

 

Qualified candidates

  • Will have prior chemistry experience and/or wet processing in academia or within the semiconductor industry or related field
  • Will have solid chemistry fundamentals, and should be able to showcase examples of leadership and innovation
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Experience generating presentations and reports
  • The ability to work with others, both one-on-one and in a team environment, and to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage time
  • Knowledge of integrated circuit processing and semiconductor devices is desired, but not a requirement

 

Education:

M.S. or Ph.D degree. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or related fields.
