As a Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for a centralized team that serves as a primary operational resource to internal stakeholders and business partners. The Central Pricing team advises on current industry prices, trends, marketing thresholds, cross-account comparisons, and analytics to maximize profitability. The team drives pricing related compliance and process efficiencies. Your team will drive streamlined and efficient business processes, utilizing industry best practices, within your area of responsibility. You will create and maintain the business rule standards and communicate and promote the standards to the impacted business areas. You will have the opportunity to partner with members of Demand Planning, Master Data Teams, Regional Business Analysts, Customer Sales Operations Specialists, Finished Goods, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and IT.

Systems: Sharepoint, SAP, Remedy, Clearquest, Microsoft office suite, MTgroups, Model N, Price Driver

 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Provide support for Sales and/or the Business Units through the delivery and/or preparation of pricing recommendations and analytics to the sales team in a consistent format
  • Develop and execute business standards and procedures to ensure intentional and streamlined business processes are executed
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Central Pricing team within Sales
  • Oversees all Commodity price points and floors
  • Develop and maintain pricing system controls to ensure sales compliance within pricing guidelines
  • Report out of sales non-compliance with pricing guidelines
  • Develop and industrialize metrics, analytics, and reports to facilitate the flow of pricing information for decision making
  • Provide pricing related subject matter expertise to stakeholders
  • Drive pricing related projects/initiatives and process improvements
  • Participate and provide input and analysis for corporate projects/initiatives

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or Marketing

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, pricing, management and/or analytics preferred
