Intern-Wet Process Development Engineer

As an Intern in the Wet Process Development Engineering group you will assist in the development of new processes to enable current and next generation integrated circuit devices for NAND, DRAM and emerging memory, evaluation of new hardware platforms and process chemistries, performing fundamental research, and chemistry development.  In this position, you will work with Micron engineers and vendors to develop processes that meet device requirements for future technology nodes.  Additionally, you will also assist in improving existing processes and enhance process capability, productivity and efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Prior wet processing and/or chemistry experience in academia must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Experience generating presentations and reports
  • The ability to work with others, both one-on-one and in a team environment, and to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage time
  • Qualified candidates should also have a good background in one of the following areas: organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, surface chemistry, or electrochemistry
  • Knowledge of integrated circuit processing and semiconductor devices is preferred
     

Education and Experience:

Pursuing M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or related fields.
