As a Software Engineer Intern at Micron Technology, Inc. and within the Information Technology Team (IT), you will collaborate with global teams to develop and deploy software solutions. You will be integrated into an agile development team that is creating world class systems that automate and enable our worldwide Manufacturing facilities.


Your personal drive, enthusiasm, and ability can and will enable you to create and deliver amazing results at Micron.  You will have a personal mentor tasked with supporting your efforts to ensure your experience is a success.  We also provide you and other interns with fun and interesting experiences including interaction with Micron Executives, cutting edge technological roadmaps, and all the awesome offerings Boise has where you can whitewater raft, hike, camp, fish, enjoy the clean and exciting downtown environment, among many other exciting activities Boise has to offer.


Successful Candidates will meet these Qualifications:

  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills,
  • Experience, history, and examples within software support and problem solving preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and self-learning skills.
  • Experience/Class work in one or more of the following technologies is preferred: C/C++, C#, Perl, MSSQL Server, and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Availability to serve in the role during the summer months of 2018



Students seeking a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent.

Must be continuing education in Fall of 2018 (Expected graduation date must not be before September 1st 2018)
