Job Description


The IT Lead, Business Solution Delivery for Enterprise Analytics & Data (EAD) is responsible for delivering data, Business Intelligence (BI), and analytics solutions that maximize measurable business value produced for Micron. A primary area of focus for this lead will be our Finance and Accounting solutions. 


Responsibilities and Tasks:

Develop, Deliver and Sustain Effective and Efficient Solutions

  • Partner with internal customers to implement Data Warehouse and BI solutions focused on solving problems and enhancing decision making with data and information
  • Collaborate with other IT Solution Delivery teams to share knowledge, ensure alignment and demonstrate unified IT solutions and services
  • Promote self-service data and analytic solutions that empower the customer to explore and manage data insights
  • Implement solutions that eliminate or minimize technical debt through a well-designed architecture, data model, and lifecycle
  • Work with Manager and Business Areas to prioritize projects according to the value delivered to the business
  • Deliver projects on-time, to specification, and within budget
  • Seek feedback from internal customers on methods and technology they find valuable
  • Work with appropriate groups and individuals to manage escalated support cases
  • Be a contact for business areas as needed

Lead and Develop Team Members

  • Direct a team of engineers, analysts, and others in delivering business intelligence solutions
  •  Ensure the team remains current on required skills
  •  Invest time in coaching and mentoring team members
  •  Provide timely and honest feedback and assessments
  •  Deliver clear messages that provide recognition and foster improvement
  •  Know people in your team as individuals
  •  Encourage the team to innovate and to be creative 

Provide Organizational Leadership

  • Maintain domain knowledge to provide subject matter expertise
  • Design, measure and assess key performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Establish, communicate, and refine department capabilities to ensure stakeholder expectations are aligned
  • Participate in or lead team activities
  • Collaborate with peers to construct enterprise solutions and solutions
  • Manage conflict and drive issues to resolution
  • Provide and support recognition and inspire team members toward higher levels of commitment and influence



  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal)
  • A passion for data and information
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective
  • Experience creating, measuring, and improving business processes
  • Strong communication skills, with a track record of significant direct interaction and peer leadership with partners across the company
  • Ability to independently prioritize work from multiple sources, including quick tasks and large scale project work
  • Self-motivated and drive for results
  • Experience in building strong teams 
  • 5 years experience in any of the following:
    • Managing and/or analyzing data and information for operations and/or business intelligence purposes         
    • Leading a function responsible for developing, delivering, and/or supporting data, analytics, or business intelligence solutions
    • Experience with Finance, SAP and Accounting practices is desired
    • Reading and writing SQL queries, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, BI tools


Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
Master’s in Business Administration, Management or Analytics also preferred.
