Job Description 


As an IT Business Analyst, you will be part of a project team using Agile & Scrum methodology, working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, closely partnered with business stakeholders.  You will be responsible for decomposing and translating user stories into new, effective solutions that integrate into a multi-systems environment.   You will participate in new functionality estimation, analysis, design and testing, and define application requirements by working closely with the stakeholders and other members of the project teams.  

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

These include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Translate business needs into actionable IT / Agile deliverables by collaborating directly with business and IT stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements and user stories. 
  • Implement system changes to align with business requirements 
  • Gather requirements from process SMEs to help design and document solutions
  • Contribute to testing, risk analysis, group presentations, status reporting, and more.   

 

Qualifications:  

  • 5 years of direct hands-on experience in a Teamcenter PLM environment
    • Hands on experience with version 10 or greater preferred
    • Working knowledge of and experience with Teamcenter Workflow 
    • Demonstrable experience in BOM, CAD, and Schedule Management
    • Preferred: experience with Teamcenter configuration including BMIDE, workflow, access control, change management, BOM management, preferences, style sheets, etc. 
  • Knowledge of PLM business processes and workflows, in addition to related tools.    
    • Teamcenter and Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics
    • eQube-BI, and/or other mechanical/electrical CAE tools
  • The ability to effectively communicate solution concepts to business counterparts and management. 
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership by working independently as well as in a team environment. 
  • A strong desire to improve operational/business efficiency and the end user experience. 
  • A focus on business stakeholder needs and service. 

 
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience
