As an HR Business Partner at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for partnering with the Site/Regional/Global HRBP(s) and for working with business managers across multiple units within a business, region, function or site to ensure HR deliverables are met. You will represent HR in business decisions and provide input into HR programs, initiatives, and service delivery strategy based on business needs. You will also provide support in the deployment and delivery of HR initiatives and work with the Site/Regional/Global Business HR team on the HR strategic plan creation, alignment and implementation.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks


Partner with Site/Regional/Global HRBPs and leaders on people strategy and initiatives while maintaining strategic alignment with organizational priorities and HR

  • Partner with HRBP(s) to be the voice of the customer to HR and the face of HR to the customer - ensuring successful program  and  process development and deployment with HR Services, Ops and COEs
  • Partner with HRBP(s) to bring the business back to HR - increase visibility to business; align HR team globally to business priorities and deliver relevant and impactful HR solutions to the business
  • Learn, leverage and influence HR best practices across Business HR team
  • Partner with HRBP(s) to drive discussions related to workforce and organization design changes and provide recommendations
  • Participate and represent HR in strategic business plan development and advise on implications of decisions
  • Partner in the development and implementation of the organizations HR strategies and programs in alignment with global/regional/site objectives. Translate local business requirements into HR goals and actions, in line with the HR agenda and regulatory requirements

Partner with HR Services and CoE to provide HR solutions to meet business needs

  • Anticipate and address HR related trends and issues impacting the business and provide insights, recommendations, plans, tools and solutions

Partner with HRBP(s) on the implementation of HR strategies, programs and solutions

  • Partner with site, regional and global HRBP(s) to drive discussions related to workforce and organization design changes and provide recommendations
  • Participate and represent HR in strategic business plan development and advise on implications of decisions
  • Partner in the development and implementation of the organizations HR strategies and programs in alignment with business objectives. Translate local business requirements into HR goals and actions, in line with the HR agenda and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Business HR team(s) to enable alignment of HR solutions

Champion change initiatives, organizational values and culture; Enhance organizational leadership and effectiveness

  • Coach and influence Leaders – help leaders be great
  • Counsel senior business leaders on talent matters
  • Model and instill the Micron culture and organizational values within the business
  • Identify business needs, help lead organizational change initiatives and communication
  • Enable collaboration between leaders and team members

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Solid time management and planning skills
  • Strong working knowledge of analytical and reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visier, etc.)

 

Education

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

  • Related field of study

 

Experience Required

5+ years in an HR Business Partner role in a global company
