OCT Backend Equipment Engineer Intern

As a Backend Central Engineering Equipment Engineer Intern at Micron, you will be given an exposure to various manufacturing equipment across component Assembly, Post Electrical and Memory Module manufacturing. The selected candidate will high level engineering experience as it relates to the manufacturing of products as they are processed through each equipment step.  More specific focus will be placed on an individual equipment set during the internship in one more of the areas mentioned.  Activities may include, analyzing and specifying new equipment requirements for New Product Introduction, Decision Analysis for system selection, assisting in procurement process, defining validation requirements and execution of the validation.  In addition to equipment engineering, this team has a packaging materials engineering team that reports into it. The selected candidate may also be expected to assist in the design and qualification of new processing and packaging materials such as injection molded component JEDEC trays, thermoformed module and SSD trays, labels, boxes and bags, etc. The selected candidate will be expected to interface with world wide high volume site engineering teams as well as many other internal teams, e.g. product engineering, procurement, capacity and product planning, (and others) to collaborate on projects or to resolve specific issues when necessary.

Demonstrated design experience

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline
