If so, you may be a fantastic candidate for our Director of Global HR Workforce Analytics position at Micron Technology, Inc., a global, Fortune 200 leader in the semiconductor industry based in Boise, Idaho.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide senior-level coordination, advice, strategy, and top-level management on key initiatives within the global HR Operations and Services organization and broader HR organization and leadership team.
  • Lead, evolve, and improve the global HR governance processes and their effectiveness.
  • Guide our global ER team to envision and realize industry best-known-methods to not only maintain appropriate compliance, but differentiate our capabilities and team member experiences.
  • Provide outstanding project and portfolio management capabilities to global, large-scale HR projects and programs.
  • Represent global HR as a senior member of the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management team.
  • Collaborate with senior HR leaders and Finance to steward the development of HR’s annual budgets, including quarterly review of performance-to-plan, and making appropriate revisions.
  • Represent HR as the Global Process Owner for corporate “Manage HR” IATF audits.
  • Facilitate core management process reviews with the global HR leadership team.
  • Ensure HR has well-established benchmarking processes and credible benchmarking data for HR programs, processes, organizational performance, costs and Micron workforce productivity.
  • Maintain industry expert connections and stay current with HR topics, emerging trends, and business process best practices.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the quality and performance of global HR processes and overall execution.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Represent HR on the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management Team and communicate/coordinate needed HR actions because of decisions/direction from this team.
  • Actively participate in various corporate and site audits ensuring successful completion of audits, or in the situation of any findings, ensuring timely and successful response/closure.
  • Ensure HR compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry requirements
  • Ensure collaborative approaches to merger, acquisition, consolidation, and divestiture with appropriate focus on critical people-related elements
  • Understand business strategy and anticipate needs/trends to ensure HR processes are evolving and improving to enable business success.
  • Inspire, lead, and mentor your team members for their development and ensuring accountability to both results and behaviors.
  • Drive key initiatives in HR Operations and Services, including regular updates to leadership on all key initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years of HR domain knowledge and/or experience, including leading organizations of a similar size/scope.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects of significant scope, complexity, and of a highly sensitive nature.
  • Due to the nature of the work within the organization, very short notice domestic and international travel may be required.
  • With international activities, conference calls in the early morning or late evenings are a normal course of business.  Flexibility on both your part and the company’s is expected.
  • Many activities within your organization are highly sensitive in nature and will require discretion and confidentiality.
  • The nature of this role will periodically deem you as an Insider and will limit you from trading Company stock.

 

Education

  • BS in HR, Finance, General Business, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Master’s level degree in Data Science/Analytics is preferred. MBA considered.
