As a scalable DRAM Quality Engineer for the DRAM Engineering Group (DEG), you will be jointly responsible for DEG design product quality and reliability issues. Working with other groups, you will be responsible for capturing, following up, and reporting on these issues. Simulation and Characterization may be employed to help identify root causes, leading to short term and/or a long-term corrective actions.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks include the following, but not limited to:

 

  • Provide product engineering feedback on all circuit issues to the design group and come up with corrective action plans to address those issues
  • Work with original design teams to resolve quality related issues
  • Attend Design Revision Reviews and check edit simulation results, schematics, and layout actions
  • Publish supporting documentation as issues are being resolved thru conclusion
  • Support and improve the DITS (design issue tracking) systems for edit tracking and reporting
  • Develop and report on design related quality metrics
  • Review CMOS electric rule checks for reliability concerns and publish and update design group checks to support new and existing designs

 

Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering in Computer / Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Can maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors and managers you are in contact with across local and international sites
  • Basic understanding of circuit operation and DRAM architecture
  • Basic understanding of statistics and SPC methodologies
  • Basic understanding of basic CMOS operation, and/or the desire to learn about degradation mechanisms
  • Good data collection, analysis and reporting skills. Perl or Python, Excel, Tableau, Power Point, SharePoint experience (Preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Able to be decisive, and possess good leadership potential. Has a basic understanding of, or desire to learn, business operation methodologies for project development
