CNBU Operations & Strategic Planning Manager

As the Sr. Manager of Operations for Micron’s Compute & Networking Business Unit, you will be leading a small team responsible for managing for the daily and mid-term planning to support CNBU business plan and give direction and leadership to the CNBU Business Operations team. This role has subject matter expert of the detailed CNBU business plan and drives these goals/targets across all impacted organizations for successful attainment. As the manager of the team you will be part of a broad group of individuals within CNBU and across the company working to successfully ramp and coordinate supply for products, including new tech-nodes, on schedule that meet the customer and market requirements.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Managing the CNBU Operations team for the following activities
    • Oversee coordination of CNBU A1-D1 with finance, marketing and intersection with CNBU stage gate reviews to ensure business planning and current supply and market signals are aligned with goals set.
    • Oversees Gear 1-3 CNBU process which includes aligning with S&OP on internal/external roadmaps, risk mitigation, and demand/market update vs supply outlook resolution plan.
    • Manages the SRx process for CNBU to support supply challenges
    • Coordinate wafer starts and trades based on segment priorities and ship orders in accordance with BU priorities.
    • Work with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to manage changes in supply and market shifts. 
    • Works with CNBU Operations Strategic Planning Manger to forsee and coordinate resolution for Strategic Capacity Planning.
    • Communications with Sales and Marketing regarding supply schedules, portfolio questions or product questions on shifts in markets and Microns and CNBU specific supply outlook
    • Facilitate discussions with Sales, Marketing. Supply, BLM with regards to risk and opportunities in short and long term supply and market dynamics. needed
    • Provide product updates pertinent to the BU
    • Provide NPI to HVM enablement; highlighting and alleviating key bottlenecks
    • Lead team on goal setting, monitoring and obtainment for supply optimization such as inventory targets, back-end strategic analysis and various other mfg monitors that allow us to work with the factory network and S&OP to optimize long term supply through best cost and quality while meeting market demands.




•    10+ years’ experience either in business operations, finance, manufacturing, supply, or an business operations related role. Micron experience highly preferred but not required.

•    Proven ability to work with multiple organization within micron and senior management up to VP level

•    Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking capability

•    Knowledge of Micron manufacturing and supply processes and CNBU market segments.

•    Understanding of Micron’s DRAM qualification process very beneficiaL

•    Familiarity with SAP tools or ability to learn



A Bachelor’s Degree (BS / BA) in business, economics, engineering, finance, or marketing. MBA from an accredited institution a plus.
