Job Description

 

As a Business Unit Sr. Financial Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the financial analysis and support for all aspects of the Mobile Business Unit. You will measure business results and prepare accurate forecasts and inputs for the business plan. You will prepare, analyze, and present analysis required to support Business Unit decisions. By partnering with the Business Unit teams, you will influence business results through financial and operational data analysis, responding to customer requests, and presenting recommendations for improvements. Additional responsibilities include roadmap and market analysis and the design and maintenance of financial models for Business Unit projections and analysis. You will also act as a mentor to less senior members of your team and provide training and data to stakeholders.                                                

 

Responsibilities                                                                                      

  • Measure Business Results and Prepare Forecasts for the Business Plan
  • Prepare, Analyze, and Present Financial and Operational Data

    (Revenue, Margin, Volume, GMPW, etc..)

  • Design and Maintain Financial Models for Business Unit Projections and Analysis       

                                                                                                                                                                                  

Education (Required)

Bachelors Degree

  • Business                            
  • Engineering

           

Education (Desired)

Masters Degree

  • Finance or Accounting          

                                                                                                                                                                               

Experience (Required)

  • 3+ years experience in any of the following: Accounting/Finance         

                               

Additional Knwoledge/Skills

  • TM1, Tableau, and/or financial or business process modeling is a plus
  • Requires strong analytical skills, including ability to deal with ambiguity
