As a Business Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for understanding the Sales Operations organization, its needs, and opportunities.  You will elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and systems. You will document business requirements and recommend solutions to help Sales Operations achieve their goals.

 

You will work closely with Sales team members to gather requirements for various projects and then partner with the development teams needed to execute.  This position will utilize your analytical skills as well as your ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders within the organization. You must be able to manage multiple deadlines effectively, as well as time and priorities.  It is also essential that you be self-motivated, results oriented, and work well in a sales team environment.

 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
 

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions
    • Understand core Sales Operations business processes and goals
    • Help drive discovery and implementation of Sales Operations critical initiatives
    • Ensure stakeholders share a common understanding of scope, requirements, problems  / opportunities 
    • Help define metrics & measurement information to proactively engage in process improvement
    • Leverage process improvement techniques to perform process analysis and identify opportunities for enhancement in efficiencies
    • Help identify solutions and recommendations to increase accuracy and efficiency
    • Communicate capabilities & constraints to ensure stakeholder expectations are met
    • Initiate and sustain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage Business Processes
    • Keep existing process documentation up to date
    • Develop and present process documentation for a new process that is easily understood and can be shared across departments
    • Assess & document current processes including gaps and interdependencies
    • Capture clear actionable requirements to help drive clear decisions and high value projects
    • Implement best practices to facilitate capture for the requirements definition of projects
    • Clearly communicate requirements and any changes to the stakeholders
    • Assist stakeholders in creation & use of a consistent system and method to model business process
    • Prioritize work, focus on results and drive for accountability
    • Promote partnerships across functional areas and customer groups
    • A high level of self-motivation, with the ability to consistently achieve desired results.
  • Project Team Member
    • Influence and develop Sales Operations strategies to maximize project value
    • Facilitate consistent execution on project scope, requirements, deliverables, testing and implementation
    • Assist in the troubleshooting of escalated issues and provide clear problem understanding for resolution
    • Maintain customer focus and drives for results
    • Influence Sales Operations strategies to maximize project value
    • Initiate and sustain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

 

Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • 3 or more  years experience in any of the following:
    • Business
    • Business Process Analysis
    • Requirements gathering
    • Requirements documentation
  • 3 or more years experience in any of the following:
    • Sales
    • Audit and Quality
    • Business Process Modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The following skills/knowledge are desired but not required:

  • SAP Knowledge
  • Salesforce Knowledge
  • Data analysis

 

Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in any of the following:

  • Business
  • APICS-CPIM
  • IIBA - Business Analysis
